Policies
Return Policies
NC Furniture Man
is dedicated to customer satisfaction. If your merchandise is
delivered with damages, you may only send back the pieces that are
damaged, not the entire grouping. Indicate the problem on the
shipping company's release form to ensure that the damaged
merchandise will be replaced.
Upon damaged merchandise being returned to our warehouse, the
merchandise will be replaced or repaired and returned to you
promptly. If the release form is signed without noting damages,
merchandise may not be returned or replaced by NC Furniture Man.
*You will not be able to receive a credit or refund on damaged
merchandise.
*NC Furniture Man does not offer any warranty options. You may
contact the manufacturer for warranty information.
Shipping Policies
Shipping rates and schedules vary according to location and
availability. If you are promised a time frame, please note that the
items you order may be placed on back order without any notice and at
any time from the distributor. We appreciate your patience in these
circumstances, and will deliver the merchandise as it becomes available
to us. We apologize for the possibility of delay in advance.
The items you order are shipped by our delivery company to the
address given upon ordering. The shipping company will contact
you when your order is available and ready to ship. A delivery time
will be scheduled with you by the shipping company, as well as
payment for shipping costs. You must be present at the time of
delivery to inspect your order and to ensure that there are no
damages to your merchandise.
The shipping quote includes a "Bring In and Set Up" delivery
unless curbside service is requested (not recommended). Prior to the
shipping company delivering your order, you must sign a release form
stating that you received your completed order and there were no
damages inspected. Upon signing the release you are stating that NC
Furniture Man and the shipping company are no longer responsible
for any claims you may attempt to make.
Shipping quotes are subject to change at any time without notice. NC
Furniture Man is not responsible for any increases or decreases in
shipping costs. Rates are given to the best of our knowledge and are
simply shipping quotes.
Payment Policies
We do not offer payment plans or financing for the merchandise we
offer; we only accept full payment upon ordering. Partial payments
will not be accepted. If partial payments are approved by the owner,
the partial amount is considered a deposit and will not be refunded
under any circumstances and the order may not be canceled.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and debit payments by phone
only. Personal checks may be accepted; however, orders will not be
placed until payment has cleared.
North Carolina sales tax will apply to all in-state purchases. If
out-of-state purchases are made, you will not be charged sales tax.
However, you are responsible for paying the sales tax for
merchandise according to the rates in the state in which you reside.
NC Furniture Man is not responsible for paying your out of state
sales tax for merchandise purchased through our company. Shipping
estimates are not included in your payment to NC Furniture Man but
must be paid to the shipping company.
If, for some reason, you are not able to pay for shipping after
ordering merchandise, the order may not be canceled and you will
have to make payment arrangements with the shipping company or
schedule a time to pick up the merchandise.
CancellationPolicies
Immediately after placing your order with NC Furniture Man,
your order is then sent to the manufacturer to begin processing your
merchandise request. Once you have placed your order and payment is
approved, your order cannot be canceled under any
circumstances. If the merchandise is discontinued after you order,
there will be no refund, but you may choose another group and must
pay the difference in cost, if any. If a discontinued item was
purchased for a larger amount, you must select merchandise that
is equal or larger in value. No refunds will be given for price
difference. If you insist on pursuing a cancellation, there will
automatically be a 45% restocking fee applied to your order plus you
will pay shipping costs back to the warehouse if items have been
shipped
